Portland cement type 2 with the brand of gold wool: in accordance with EN 197-1

Modified Portland with low tetrahedral heat used in bulk concreting, in relatively “sulfated” (gypsum) environments and general use.

Advantages and characteristics of type 2 cement:

* Type 2 cement is used when there is a possibility of gentle penetration of sulfate.

* This type of cement mainly produces less heat than type 1 cement.

* Can be used in relatively large structures such as large bridge piers and heavy retaining walls.

* The use of this type of cement reduces the temperature rise, which is important in concreting in hot weather.
